** Your child will be tested on spelling and vocabulary words Friday. Please study these words nightly. **

Week 3

The students are adjusting to first grade, and the new school, really well. We have established many of our classroom routines and procedures, which the students have learned quickly. Next week we will be going full out, so please be ready to assist your child with all of the information to come.

This will be the last week for our kindergarten review. We will be working on letters Pp - Zz. I will be sending home another word list for your child to work on. Please be sure to review these words with your child daily.

I still do not have the health information form or the snow dismissal form from everyone. If I do not have one from you, I will send home a new copy of these forms with your child on Monday. Please return these forms to school Tuesday.

Week 2

This week we will be continuing with our kindergarten review. We will review letters F through O. Please be sure that you are working with your children on the "popcorn" or "word wall" words.

*Don't forget; If you have not returned all of the paperwork, I need it ASAP.

Thank you again for sharing your child with me. They are all a joy to have in class.

Beginning of School

It was great to see everyone's smiling faces back to school yesterday. The next couple of weeks will be a review of skills learned in kindergarten. I will be sending home several notes to keep you updated, so please check your child's backpack every night. Look for car rider information and a word list coming home very soon. Also, if you have not returned paperwork: white information sheet (has yellow carbon copy on back), student residency form, handbook forms, snow dismissal form, and student health form, please do so tomorrow. Student supplies also need to be sent to school. Remember the amount for school fees is not $65.00, as written on the supply list, it has been changed to $52.00.
